Well here goes. I was going to just do a standard introduction blah blah blah here is my life blah blah blah this is what I like to write but that seemed awfully boring and too similar to every other site where I have attempted to make my mark writing. So rather than do that I'm just going to rank some of the best fan fictions that I've read so far. Before I begin some context...

This summer I was in NYC, and despite the insane amount of things to do I started to read a lot of fan fiction during my time. And tbh almost every fan fiction that I've started reading has been so amazing for me. They've all made me learn better way to write, and better styles to implement.

I've just had one fan fiction that truly scarred me but it's fine we don't need to talk about that one.

So without further ado... here goes my ranking!

BEST FANFICTIONS
1) Starfall - Ok so I know I labeled this post as a Percy Jackson fan fiction ranking, and this is the only non-pjo fanfiction I have read so far, but it was too good not to include. When I say this is probabkly the epitome of writing based off of a preexisting property I swear to you I am not lying. This story made me laugh and made me cry. I spent the whole time waiting for the story to jump the shark, as I've heard many do, but it never did. It ended with a satisfying conclusion and a sh*tload of epilogues to tie up any loose thread. Please please give this a read. Oh also I just realized I never mentioned it, this is based off of the first season of a tv show called Star vs The Forces of Evil. It is a fantastic show, along the same lines as Gravity Falls, but you only need to know what happens in the first season to be caught up with everything for this story. The story also contradicts a lot from the later seasons so I would recommend only watching the first season before you begin reading this.

2) Brotherband Chronicles - I have to put this one as my #2 choice. In terms of a story that offers an adventurous setting with so much potential, this one takes the cake. I've only just started reading this, but it's already gotten me hooked. I feel like it understands the characters, and as the only story that actually keeps the godly powers of the main heroes, it adds so much to the story. If any of y'all start reading this, remember that I'll be right with ya haha.

3) Heart by Heart - This next one takes the cake as the most beautifully written of them all. With excellent words of wisdom that will truly make you think, and a nice story about two people trying to find themselves after their screwed up childhoods, I feel like this story has so much you can learn from. The words of wisdom are all so thought provoking. If you get into this one be warned, it will make you feel so much and make you look deep inside yourself at the type of person that truly lays within.

4) Spellbound - The best thing to say about this one was that it was honestly such a magical journey. This story essentially takes the PJO characters, and transposes them into Hogwarts. No Hogwarts characters are included, but the setting of Hogwarts, the classes, the teachings, and the Quidditch all still the same that we've grown up with. Everything was written so beautifully. I honestly felt like I Was on a journey during this one.

5) A Thousand Years _ This story had such an intriguing concept. Written by the same author who wrote Heart by Heart I thought it was going to have such a spiritual and deep ending. And for most of the story it does seem like it's headed that way. Then in the last two chapters it suddenly jumps the shark. I'm not sure if the author ran out of time or just couldn't figure out how to end their story, but I feel like with such an intriguing presence there was so much more that could have been done. Not to say that it still isn't a worthwhile read however.

Well that's it. Apart from #2, these are all of the fan fictions that I have been able to complete so far. I would love to hear about any more that fall into the same areas that I mentioned above. And if you haven't realized by now, I love ranking things on this page, so here's to more of that.

Also more stories. I really really really want to start writing again. Hopefully I'm able to get the motivation soon. Gotta get some work done now. No classes for me tomorrow thankfully, but doesn't mean there isn't a sh*t ton of work to do as usual. I'll post something else tonight if I have any free time.

Peace - A
